It's the world's largest bourbon, food and music festival, and it's happening this weekend in Louisville, Bourbon and beyond.

And it's sister event Louder Than Life.

For four days in September, Louisville becomes the gathering place for bourbon lovers, music fans and foodies from across the country.

Bourbon and beyond, which began in 2017, has really taken off, setting the stage for the largest bourbon, food and music festival in the nation.

The festival blends major music acts with Kentucky's signature spirit, creating an experience that's as much about bourbon cocktails and concerts as it is about culinary culture.

If you are hosting a cocktail party, Little One by pastry with apricot and a weeded bourbon, citrus to give it a little zip.

You're bound to pick up a few pointers about picking the best bourbon.

And you come to a fork in the road, and you either pick wheat or rye.

Oui is passive smooth, lets to sweet corn through rye.

Has pop personality and spice.

Easiest way to remember it wheat is sweet, Rye is dry.

Every Bourbon and Beyond ticket is also a ticket to ride, so to speak.

This is the second year part of Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park is included in the festival.

According to the festival organizers, attendees have access to more than a dozen rides during the festival, including the Giant Ferris Wheel, Lightning Run roller coaster, and Scream Extreme.

For those more interested in rocking than riding, there's no denying that the music takes center stage.

The festival features more than 100 artists performing throughout the four day festival across multiple genres, from bluegrass to the blues and city court and everything in between.

Bourbon and beyond continues to bring together music, bourbon, food and uniquely Kentucky experiences.

And with attractions like Kentucky Kingdom, bourbon tastings and celebrity chef demonstrations, organizers say there's truly something here for everyone.
