It's Opening Day in Milwaukee.
- Go, Brewers!
Whoo!
- [Narrator] Finally, baseball is back at American Family Field.
And we're back, all of us.
Together again, our spirits lifted.
(fans cheering and yelling) Today, even heated rivals embrace.
Just look at us, how beautiful we are.
We greet spring the way old villages once did, gathering in a circle, singing loudly, and revolving around a sacred pole now made of truck antenna flags.
- [Fans] Yay!
- [Narrator] It is a new season of baseball.
It is a new season of life.
It's that feeling that we're lucky enough to begin again.
On opening day, something inside us shifts now that the long, cold inning of winter records a third out.
Look, there's gonna be blown saves, passed balls, and runners stranded on third.
But this year, it's gonna be different, because we're goin' for it, baby.
Hope springs eternal!
(fans yelling) And sometimes fall rewards faith, because six months later, we're still playing.
Call it delusional.
Call it blind faith.
Call it the Fall Classic in Milwaukee.
- World Series.
Brewers, bring it home, baby.
(upbeat jazz music) - [Narrator] P.S.
Ueck, man, (laughs) we miss you.
Our bard in the booth, oh, how we wish you were here to call this one.
