Celeste Malvar-Stewart is a Columbus-based couture fashion designer who works solely with sustainable items. She creates her fabric with wool from an Ohio sheep farm and dyes her fiber with plant-based products like black walnuts and Eucalyptus leaves. Her recent collection, Local Sound, threads together her love of her adopted city, her eco-conscious sensibility and her spirit of collaboration.
