A group of Philadelphia art teachers formed Fresh Artists in response to budget cuts.

In response to decreased funding and cuts in academic arts programming, a group of Philadelphia art teachers formed Fresh Artists, a non-profit organization that introduces students to art-making and philanthropy. Children create and then donate pieces of artwork, which are then given as tokens of thanks to those who invest money into the inner-city school system.
