On the next Broad & High, Columbus-based artist Janae Smith has combined her interest in medicine with her love of makeup to create some special effects worthy of "The Walking Dead." Brookville, Ohio, native Carrie Longley explores the relationship between art and science in her latest sculpture, and the members of one Midwest community pay a special tribute to a civil-rights hero.
