Amit Majmudar, the first poet laureate for Ohio, recites two of his original poems.

In January 2016, Amit Majmudar of Dublin, Ohio was appointed Ohio’s first poet laureate by Gov. John Kasich. His poetry has appeared in numerous publications, including The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, and The Atlantic Monthly. He recited two of his original poems at this year’s Poetry Out Loud state finals.
