Nearly 60 years ago Bruce Christiansen and Edna Anderson-Taylor signed on to KUED
When they signed on the air --January 20th, 1958, the program was "The Friendly Giant"...KUED's founders weren't sure the station was really going to make it. Their foresight and hard work has been rewarded during these about-to-be 60 years. Bolstered by the Public Broadcasting Act, which celebrated 50 years on November 7th, and by thousands of loyal supporters and underwriters--KUED flourishes.
