Bruce Springsteen sells music catalog to Sony for $500M

Sony now owns all Springsteen's recorded work and songwriting

Perhaps no one sings "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" quite like New Jersey’s own Bruce Springsteen, with his talk of a cold, windy beach and Santa bringing a saxophone. Christmas is coming early for The Boss this year. Springsteen sold his entire song catalog to Sony Music in a deal worth $500 million. The sale gives Sony ownership over all his recorded work and songwriting.
