Takeaways: Public lands in Nicollet County are 90 percent compliant, but there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach for farmers. Farmers need to be worked with so their land isn't just taken out of production. But will waiting to year to implement this work? Some say that much time is required to get this right, while others think that clean water issues should be addressed sooner.
