I immigrated to the States when I was 12.
My family's Muslim and there are people that want to put us on a registry list.
People that wanna deport immigrants.
And so even though I live in San Francisco, a bubble in some way.
Building a wall of empathy, you know, it's for safety at this point, and recognizing all the pain and everything that people are feeling.
- Sad.
- It's just a shameful moment for me as an American.
And it's easy to descend into anger.
But that's not helpful.
So the Post-Its are kind of way of saying, "It's alright."
Just a reminder that we're all part of this community.
Nobody's the "other."
- Communication is the most important thing and communicating with people that you don't know.
I believe that anything that we don't like, we can change.
And we live through inspiration.
-Hopefully using this energy, having more honest conversation, we can come together.
