Why gas prices keep climbing

Higher demand for gas, higher prices and not enough supply.

New Jersey gas prices shot up more than 9 cents a gallon over the past week. The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in New Jersey is just under $3.45, about a $1.20 higher than a year ago. There’s been a spike in demand and there’s not enough supply.
