NJ business advocate says lack of key cannabis regulations puts employers in legal limbo
With legal marijuana sales just days away, the state’s largest business lobbying group says key issues around drug testing and workplace safety have not been addressed. Employers are allowed to conduct drug tests on their workers, but under the state's new cannabis law, a worker who tests positive must also get a physical evaluation from what’s known as a workplace impairment recognition expert.
