US job openings reached a record high in March

The worker shortage continues, with new numbers on Tuesday showing that job openings in the U.S. increased to a record high in March -- 11.5 million vacancies. The number of people quitting their jobs in March increased to over 4.5 million, also a record. Marjorie Perry, CEO of Newark-based MZM Construction and Management, says it’s a struggle to find workers for projects.
