Gas prices in New Jersey are higher than the national average
Gas prices in New Jersey have now hit $5 a gallon on average. Prices keep rising because demand is strong and oil prices remain high. Gas prices in the state are higher than the national average, as well as higher than the prices in neighboring New York and Pennsylvania.
