Gov. Murphy wants an accelerated timeline for proposed property-tax relief program
On Thursday, Gov. Phil Murphy said he wants to see the timeline accelerated for his proposed property-tax relief program known as Anchor, which is included in his budget for the new fiscal year. Eligible homeowners would receive an average rebate of $700, while renters would receive up to $250. The average household rebate would rise to over $1,100 by fiscal year 2025.
