Yearly event to celebrate Chinese culture and help restore China Alley in Hanford.
The Moon Festival takes place each year in Hanford’s historic China Alley. The public is invited to tour the Taoist Temple, enjoy a food and craft fair and entertainment. In the late 1800’s the Chinese population in Hanford grew as many Chinese came to work on the railroad. Today efforts are underway to help restore and preserve China Alley. Taoist Museum is open the 1st Saturday of each month.
