Art exhibit at Fresno City Hall marks 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Artist Nishan Der Kalousdian has being creating art since he was a child. Many of his paintings have an Armenian theme. Der Kalousdian’s art was on display at Fresno City Hall in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. In 1915, 1.5 million Armenians were killed by the Ottoman Turks. Der Kalousdian’s art focuses on Musa Dagh. Many of the villagers found a new life in Lebanon.
