A ceremony took place to mark the lives lost during the Armenian Genocide 101 years ago.
Members of the Central Valley Armenian community gather to mark the 101th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. 1.5 million Armenians were killed at the hands of the Ottoman Turks. The Central Valley is home to approximately 50 thousand Armenians. A ceremony took place at Masis- Ararat Cemetery in Fresno. Guests included: Congressman Jim Costa and Raffi Hamparian.
