March 3, 2016 groundbreaking of project to restore traffic to Fulton Mall.
Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin and special guests address a large crowd that came out to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Fulton Street Reconstruction Project. When the Fulton Mall opened in 1965, Fulton St. was closed to traffic from Inyo to Tuolumne. The reconstruction project will bring vehicle traffic back to the street in hopes of helping revitalize downtown Fresno. Completion set for '17.
