Valley Armenians call for action after the Syrian town of Kessab is attacked rebels.
Fresno’s Armenian community is asking for the American government to step in and help after Christian Armenians living in the Syrian town of Kessab are attacked. Over 2,000 residents in Kessab were forced to flee after Muslim rebels broke into their homes, attacked businesses and destroyed churches. Armenians say Turkey is behind this attack; as they were during the Armenian Genocide in 1915.
