Increasingly on campus, controversial speakers are becoming the targets of vitriolic protests by those who find their ideas abhorrent. But where does a student’s right to protest meet a speaker’s right to be heard on a college campus? Recently two Virginia universities joined a coalition funded by the Knight Foundation to ensure free speech on campus.
