All five cases are isolated to the patient's skin, meaning there is no active infection and no patients are experiencing symptoms.
Now, according to the Centers for Disease Control, Candida Auris is a highly resistant treatment situation to drug treatment.
The fungus can cause infections in the bloodstream and open wounds, but it is typically not a threat to healthy people and usually turns up in people being treated for a separate illness.
UK health care has isolated all five patients to prevent any new cases.
