Tonight…Sen. Scott Beason of Gardendale dropped legislation to repeal the state’s controversial Common Core school curriculum standards. The House passed a bill that would allow the display of the Ten Commandments on state property.  Sen. Tom Whatley of Auburn discusses his bills to add waste collection companies to the PSC’s oversight and exempt farm equipment from the state sales tax.
