We'll report on today's opening of a special legislative session to tackle the General Fund budget crisis. Many lawmakers said there were caught off-guard by Governor Bentley calling them back to Montgomery so quickly. The legislature met briefly today to receive the Governor's budget bills, then adjourned until early August. And we'll be joined by Rep. Alan Boothe of Troy.
