Tonight…a conference committee approved a compromise education budget.  It provides more money for insurance costs, but no teacher pay raise or bonus. The spending plan went back to the House and Senate.  The upper chamber had the General Fund budget on its agenda, after it got committee approval yesterday.  Rep. Greg Wren of Montgomery discusses the latest effort to expand Medicaid.
