We'll report on the state board of education today appointing members to a charter schools commission, after recently voting not to do so. Meantime, the House today was set to consider a bill that would have the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, House Speaker and Senate President Pro Tem make the appointments in lieu of the school board. And we'll be joined by Sen. Vivian Davis Figures of Mobile.
