On Day 35, the Senate honors their oldest member and the Kemp signs tax rebate bill.
On Day 35, the house passed a law requiring computer science classes for high school students starting in 2031, and "The Dean" of the Senate, Ed Harbison, was honored as he passed that last two bills under his stewardship before his planned retirement at the end of the session. Also, Governor Kemp signed two tax bills into law, mandating state income rebates and a suspension of the fuel tax.
