Specifically for the junior grade level, we are providing them experiential learning, so an opportunity to do a lot of career research.
We have 15 different rooms being utilized for the 100 juniors here to learn about any number of careers from manufacturing, military, business.
We've got engineers, pilots, health care, nurses, the trades, contractors.
So any number of things that gives them an opportunity to learn.
The arts girl, she brought a lot of pamphlets and she showed us her work.
It was really cool.
She did like a lot of murals.
And then the chef's one, she had like a whole slideshow of, like what she made.
Age wise at 16, 17, maybe it's time to start thinking, hey, next year I should take some classes that might connect to after high school.
So this is their opportunity to maybe figure some things out.
I don't really know what career path I'm on yet and so I wanted to try and see what options I have.
Especially after COVID, it's been really hard to find places to find this information or find places to start.
So having a resource that comes to you and explains it to you is super helpful.
