Population Health

Special | 26m 44sVideo has Closed Captions

This panel will discuss health of NJ and the changes needed for a healthier population.

New Jersey has a population of more than 8.5 million, and almost 1.5 million of them are uninsured. With a rapidly aging population, individuals will require more and more care as they age. The forecast for the new generation is that they will not outlive their parents. The healthcare system in the United States is broken but any changes made will fall short without consumer participation.
