Prescription Drug Abuse: The Real Story

Special | 26m 54sVideo has Closed Captions

This panel discusses prescription drug abuse among teens in the United States.

Prescription drug abuse among teens remains a major problem in the United States. With more parental involvement at an early age, coupled with setting and keeping firm rules/consequences, may help reduce the likelihood of use of alcohol and other drugs throughout the teenage years. Addiction is a chronic disease and teens in recovery need support, as do the teens choosing not to use.
