First doses of COVID-19 vaccine given to NJ kids ages 5-11

Late Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11. In New Jersey, vaccination appointments were already open Tuesday morning and the first pediatric doses of the vaccine were administered in the state on Wednesday.
