World War 2 Navy Carrier Pilot, Ken Glass served aboard the carrier The Hornet. Mr. Glass was involved in combat action in the Palau Islands, Truk in the Carolinas, and at the Marianas. He was involved in the first Battle of the Philippine Sea. Mr. Glass spent time near Iwo Jima, fought in the invasion of New Guinea, went back to Palau Islands for what was known as "Bloody Peleliu," and more.
