Some rural employers struggle to fill vacant positions in the STEM industry.

FRC East, a naval aviation maintenance and repair depot in Havelock, employs more than 4,000 workers. Many of those jobs are in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). FRC East once struggled to recruit and retain employees, but they’ve since come up with a solution.
