Charter schools give out laptops for remote learning
KIPP charter schools handed out 2,000 laptops to parents for home schooling. Teachers collected them from classrooms after a survey found more than half of the 4,800 students needed laptops. KIPP says the computers allow it to be flexible if it needs to keep schools shuttered beyond April 20.
