Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that the November election could be rigged, and that polling places should be monitored for signs of fraud. But local election officials scoff at that notion, saying Trump has no evidence on which to base his claims, and that widespread voter fraud is nearly impossible.
