Incidents of carjackings are on the rise in Chicago.

Car theft is frustrating enough but there's another vehicular crime that induces far more fear among drivers, and that's carjackings. Right now, Chicago is seeing triple the number of carjackings from a decade ago — and has more incidents than any city in the country. The Illinois State Police Department weighs in on the trend.
