And we are here for a chili cook off for CASDA: the Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse.
I live out here in Solon, so it's very important to me that our name and our organization and what we're doing is out in our area.
So we had, oh, I believe it was 11 different people.
A couple of people made two different kinds of chili.
We have some unique ones right now.
A peanut butter chili, which I thought was unique.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to.
But there are tons of different ones, some with venison, some with moose.
Well, we have one shelter for CASDA.
It's right in Superior, Wisconsin, there.
We service Douglas County, Ashland and Bayfield.
You don't hear CASDAs name that much, especially out in the rural areas like this.
So it is super cool to have all of my community members show up and be here for this.
It means the world to me, honestly.
