Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship- I think anyone that lives in Massachusetts should hope that that commuter rail ridership does come back.
You know, I don't think anyone wants a future where we're all just getting in a car every day and creating more and more congestion on our roads, more emissions that impact local air pollution, more carbon emissions.
We want people to ride the T, and I don't think we should be shy about saying that.
And again, I'd go back to this idea about what makes the Massachusetts economy so special.
You know, we don't have a lot of natural resources, we don't have oil or gold mines or things that otherwise can produce wealth.
What's always created wealth and always made our economy hum in Massachusetts is the ingenuity of our people, and bringing a lot of smart people together in small spaces like downtown Boston, Kendall Square, the Longwood Medical area, even downtown Worcester, and if we don't have transit, we're not gonna be able to get all those people together in small spaces.
It just doesn't work when we're all driving cars.
