Multimedia artist and “ethnographic surrealist" Chris Lawson

Social worker and artist Chris Lawson’s vast media portfolio is as diverse as his life’s experiences. Living in Cambodia, France, Alabama, and travelling all over the globe has infused his work with a style of “ethnographic surrealism” as one fellow artist described it. Now based in New Orleans, Lawson is a storyteller at his core who weaves tales together through collage, film, poetry, and song.
