The viral video of bird watcher Christian Cooper being threatened by a white woman in Central Park showed, as Deval Patrick said, that the woman understood that with one call to police, she could “rain hell down on the life of a Black man.” To discuss what the incident represents and what needs to change, Christiane speaks with Cooper, alongside his sister Melody, who posted the original video.
