Latest polls put Republican candidate eight to 11 points behind Gov. Phil Murphy

Jack Ciattarelli, the Republican candidate for governor, wrapped up his long campaign with three final stops at Somerset County diners. Though late polls put him eight to 11 points behind incumbent Gov. Phil Murphy, Ciattarelli called the race a “dead heat.” Ciattarelli is looking for a boost from voter turnout, but that could also benefit Murphy.
