It's a musical collaboration 17 years in the making.
David Rothenberg, Professor of Philosophy and Music at NJIT, started playing his clarinet alongside birds nearly two decades ago, then whales, then insects. He’s played with cicadas in the past but this is his first show with some from the Brood X cohort, which emerges only once every 17 years.
