Chicago’s Planning and Development Commissioner on the Invest South/West groundbreaking.
Mayor Lightfoot made a splash today breaking ground on a new $43 million development in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side. The mixed-use affordable housing project will be built at 79th and Halsted, once a thriving hub. The project is part of the city’s Invest South/West Initiative designed to bring new life to the city’s South and West sides.
