Derrick Taylor’s 3rd quarter 34-yard interception return provided the key play as Irwin Co. won its second straight 1-A Public title with a 29-17 win over Brooks County. Irwin QB Cody Soliday, son of first year head coach Casey Soliday, threw a 53-yard TD pass to Kennesaw State commit Gabriel Benyard. Georgia Southern signee Omari Arnold had 113 yards rushing and a touchdown for Brooks.
