GHSA 3A Final: Pierce County vs. Oconee County - Dec. 30, 2020

Daytin Baker’s interception and D.J. Bell’s 15-yard TD run lifted Pierce County to a 13-7 overtime win against #1 ranked Oconee County in the Class 3A championship. Scoreless until the fourth quarter, Oconee took the lead on Texas A&M commit Jake Johnson’s TD reception. Pierce tied the game three minutes later on a 5-yard D.J. Bell run to force OT. It was the Bears’ first state title.
