On Jan. 31, 1944, the NJ Supreme Court ruled that local school districts could not establish separate public schools based on race. Paul Robeson Elementary teacher Kristine Burns and her students produced a book about the landmark decision that occurred in their school 70 years ago. Also on this episode: 5th graders help design a program that will prevent flooding in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
