So I always say that it's it's not time that develops skill of working with clay, but it's the physical act of doing it over and over and over again.

it's not easy if you've not done it that many times, but it is actually as easy as it looks once you've thrown 10,000 pots or however many.

And tonight we are starting the first, class of our intro to Functional Pottery.

I think with the intro class, people that come into this, especially people who have not done any pottery work before, kind of come to it with, an openness and a, a perspective that is really fun.

So one of my favorite pieces to make is the next part.

the, the idea of always looking forward and making new shapes, making even if it's maybe a shape that I made before or a form that I've made before.

and always kind of changing and growing as a potter, I think is what keeps me going.
