I'm not a part of any like schools or any of the local pottery clubs.
I also really like to just do things myself.
A huge part of that for me was doing this and just knowing like I did it by myself.
If you're thinking about getting into pottery, just be prepared to fail.
Be prepared to make things that aren't even pretty or perfect.
I have made a lot of mugs that are completely off balance, completely off centered, and I just made them anyway knowing that they were going to be a little wonky.
I believe it is a form of meditation.
I would say it's my main form of meditation at this point in my life.
Clay is limitless, like you can make as many things as your brain can possibly conceive with clay and that is just so awesome.
