New Jersey leads the nation in toxic Superfund sites, many of them situated along waterways prone to flooding. As the world warms -- driving the climate engine to churn out stronger, more frequent storms -- it transforms dozens of toxic Superfund sites in New Jersey into ticking time bombs more vulnerable to catastrophic downpours and tidal surges.
