My name's Carly Weiss and I climb on the North Shore.
I started climbing because it was a great way to get outside.
So bending around and staying completely stick straight.
See the North Shore and the challenge movement and life flow of climbing just I picked up around when I was 15, 16. really had me hooked.
Being a female climber in a male dominated sport has definitely been interesting.
I draw inspiration from both male and female climbers, but it's always like so fun and so exciting when you can relate to another female climber in the North Shore.
But as a pogo stick, and that makes sense.
I like climbing at Palisade, honestly, because of all of the memories that I've made with friends climbing there and the exposure like a kid on the street, they're always like, "look at that mom at Palisade and like the type of climbing, just and dad look!"
and then their parents are always like, Don't, that's very rude.
it's so like raw and real and dad look!"
and then their parents are always like, Don't, that's very rude.
Like, it's you don't see a unicycle every single day.
and it's just insane.
Like, the most gorgeous place I've ever climbed, for sure.
